Upcycling Vintage Chenille!

These are just some of the Vintage Chenille pieces that have just arrived in the post today. At first I thought I might incorporate some bright, white (new) flannelettes and combine them to make myself a lovely lap quilt. However, my most recent thought is to use them in appliques on Tops and Toys. What do you think? Best use of up cycling Vintage Chenille? Would love to hear your ideas! x Mrs Bear

An Ode to Women Who Have Experienced Breast Cancer

I have just discovered this gorgeous fabric by Loralie Designs. It is in celebration of all women who have survived breast cancer. It is close to my heart having had my mother lose a breast to cancer as well as friends. I am 'playing' with some appliques with the panel on one of my favorite stretchy long sleeved black tops. I will wear this with pride and in honour of all those beautiful women. ♥
